OpHUB Privacy Policy

OpHUB ("we", "us", "our") provides site management software for roofing and construction businesses, accessible via the web at operativehub.co.uk and via the OpHUB Site App on iOS and Android. This policy explains what information we collect from users of the app and website, and how we use it.

Who this applies to

OpHUB is used by staff of subscribing companies (site operatives, managers, and administrators). Each subscribing company controls its own account and the operative accounts within it. If you are an operative using the app as part of your employment, your employer (the subscribing company) is responsible for what data they choose to store in OpHUB about you; we process that data on their behalf.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number (if provided), role, and the company/site(s) you are assigned to.
• Location data: when you use the site check-in feature, we collect your device's location at the moment of check-in/check-out to confirm you are on site. We do not track your location continuously or in the background.
• Photos and files: photos and documents you upload for snags, variations, site reports, RAMS/COSHH signatures, and certifications.
• Usage data: basic activity within the app (e.g. sign-in times, document sign-off records) needed to keep accurate site and compliance records.

How we use this information

We use the information above solely to operate the app's core functionality: managing site rosters, verifying site attendance, maintaining health & safety compliance records (RAMS/COSHH sign-offs and renewal reminders), and enabling communication between operatives and site managers. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage and security

Data is stored with Supabase, a hosted database provider, and transmitted using encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to a company's data is restricted to authenticated users belonging to that company.

Data retention and deletion

Data is retained for as long as your account remains active with your employer's OpHUB subscription. To request deletion of your personal data, contact us at the email address below; requests will be handled in coordination with your employer where required for their own record-keeping or legal obligations (e.g. health & safety compliance records).

Third-party services

We use Supabase for data storage and Vercel for web hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments; they do not use your data for their own purposes.

Children's privacy

OpHUB is a workplace tool intended for adult employees of subscribing companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
